Parkly is proud to be part of the Eloisa Espoo (Lively Espoo) initiative in Tapiola, a collaboration with to bring more greenery into urban spaces. This project enhances Tapionaukio with a welcoming, plant-filled seating area – an inviting spot for both short breaks and longer moments of relaxation.
The first installation took place in autumn 2024, serving as a pilot to explore how small garden islands can enrich the local environment and foster community connections. Insights from this phase will help shape future ideas and locations for similar green spaces with our modular solutions.
This initiative is part of the Eloisa Espoo programme, which focuses on increasing urban greenery, engaging residents, and addressing climate challenges. The project is commissioned by cross-sectoral departments of the City of Espoo.
The modular green seating concept and design are created by Ziran Cultural Cooperative, with green planning led by Espoo City gardeners.
